Normy, the Firstborn

Normy was once an ordinary cat and the constant companion of Forgemaster Prime. It spent much of its life resting beside the First Forge while Prime tended its living fire. Years of exposure left traces of unshaped Forge energy within the curious feline.

Normy was beside Prime when the unseen attack caused the Shattering. Caught in the explosion, it absorbed fragments of the eleven Affinity Flames before their powers could fully separate. The experience transformed Normy into a living Blank Slate. A Multiform Forgekin capable of evolving through several different affinities according to its environment, experiences, and strongest bonds.

The explosion also scattered pieces of Normy's unstable forgeprint, allowing independent Normy echoes to appear throughout the world. Each echo possesses the same potential for many forms, but only the Firstborn Normy remembers life beside Forgemaster Prime and the First Forge before it fell.
