FLAVOR TEXT

"Still as stone… until it strikes."

LORE

When a Normy forms a powerful bond with the Rock-Earth affinity, its adaptable forgeprint reshapes it into Bouldgato. Most transformations occur among the mineral-rich cliffs of the Dustfall Barrens, where Normy echoes spend long days resting upon sun-warmed stone and absorbing energy from the ground beneath them. Over time, their soft coats harden into protective layers of living rock, producing a patient and remarkably resilient feline. Bouldgato may remain motionless for hours, easily mistaken for part of the surrounding terrain, but it can strike without warning by driving its full weight into the earth. The resulting Grounding Slam disrupts unstable Forge energy, suppressing an opponent’s Chaos while leaving Bouldgato firmly braced against retaliation.
