LORE

Plinks are small, round-bodied Forgekin found within abandoned mechanical trial halls scattered across the world. They appear irresistibly drawn to ramps, pegs, narrow passages, and any structure through which they can drop and rebound. A Plink rarely chooses the most direct path; it allows momentum and chance to guide it until its hardened shell collides with a target in a simple Tap Strike. Emberbound scholars suspect the Firstborn Plink once served as a living calibration tool, testing mechanical pathways through countless repeated drops, though no surviving record confirms its purpose. Plink seems unconcerned with such questions. It falls, strikes, climbs back into position, and begins again.
