LORE

Recovered First Forge Record Forgewrights were once precision workers within the First Forge. Their carved limbs etched channels for molten metal, restored damaged plates, and inscribed patterns too exact for any ordinary smith to reproduce. Each mark was measured before it was made, and no Forgewright was known to strike the same place twice without purpose. When the Shattering broke the Forge, many continued working. Some repaired fallen passages or reinforced chambers containing Forge Embers. Others wandered into the surrounding ruins, carving unfamiliar designs into walls and stone. Whether these patterns are unfinished instructions, warnings, or attempts to reconstruct something the First Forge lost remains unknown. A Forgewright maintains its own Etched Plate with equal precision. So long as its frame remains undamaged, every motion follows the flawless design it remembers from before the attack. Researchers have been warned not to interrupt its work. A Forgewright does not distinguish between an obstruction and material awaiting correction.
