LORE

Account of the Lanternpath Festival Each year, the road between Rootrest Orchard and Gloamwood’s brighter outer groves is lined with painted lanterns, sugared fruit, and tiny forgefires burning pink at dusk. During the worst storm season in living memory, families continued the celebration so their children would have something brighter than thunder to remember. That night, Sweettooth appeared among the festival sweets. Its candy-heart shell and crooked grin made it an immediate favorite, until predators emerged from the darkened grove. Sweettooth hurled itself at them with such force that hardened armor cracked beneath a shower of crystallized sugar. Every collision only sent it bouncing toward another target. Forge Echoes of Sweettooth have since appeared near celebrations across the Forged World, from Galecrest victory feasts to Mirrorwater lantern nights. They are playful, loud, and fiercely protective of anyone still capable of joy. Sweettooth does not fight from anger. It fights because some things are too precious to let fear spoil.
