FireQuacker holds a unique place in the modern FiF Dex: it was the first Forgekin formally cataloged from the account of someone outside the established circle of Forgers and Emberbound scholars. First reported by a traveler named Roz, the sighting was initially dismissed as a tale inspired by heat and exhaustion. Later expeditions confirmed flocks nesting around the molten pools of the Cinderwilds, where they skim across superheated water without burning their webbed feet. A threatened FireQuacker delivers a sudden Firebite before vanishing into clouds of steam and drifting embers. Its discovery proved that the world still contained Forgekin unknown to even its most dedicated chroniclers, and transformed the Dex from a record of what was known into an invitation for others to reveal what had yet to be found.
