FLAVOR TEXT

"Beneath every field lies a story."

LORE

Across the Dustfall Barrens walks a solitary seeker known only as the Collector. At his side rests a curious instrument tuned to the faint resonance left within forged metal. Coins, broken tools, forgotten emblems, and fragments cast across the world by the Shattering all answer its searching tone. To others, these objects are little more than buried scraps. The Collector understands that each carries a piece of history. He carefully recovers, cleans, and catalogs every discovery, refusing to melt down even the smallest fragment until its story has been uncovered. His collection has preserved the names of vanished settlements, traced forgotten paths to the First Forge, and revealed warnings concealed beneath centuries of earth. When threatened, the Collector turns his instrument upon the metal carried by his enemies. Once he finds the Perfect Signal, no armor can conceal its weakest point. Yet he rarely searches for wealth and never measures a discovery by its value alone. To the Collector, the greatest treasures are not those that shine brightest, but those that allow the past to speak again.
