FLAVOR TEXT

"Eight seconds for legends. A lifetime for everyone else."

LORE

Before the Shattering, settlements throughout the Dustfall Barrens held contests known as the Toro Twists. Riders entered a stone arena with powerful, untamed bulls and attempted to remain mounted for eight seconds. Outsiders often mistook the event for reckless entertainment, but its participants understood it differently: eight seconds in the arena could reveal a lifetime of courage, discipline, and respect. The greatest of these riders was said to share such a powerful bond with his bull that the First Forge recognized them as a single spirit. When the Shattering swept across the Barrens, rider and beast disappeared within a storm of stone and dust. From the settling earth emerged ToroTwister. A Forgekin formed from their combined determination. Every Forge Echo of ToroTwister manifests as the same inseparable pair. The bull provides unstoppable strength while the rider guides that power through balance and trust. When they defeat an opponent, the rhythm of the ancient arena returns, driving them forward with renewed force. The Toro Twists are no longer widely practiced, but their oldest lesson survives wherever ToroTwister charges: Eight seconds can create a legend, but earning the trust beneath the saddle takes a lifetime.
