Travel Advisory: Lower Gloamwood Travelers entering caves marked by drooping, spotted caps should cover their mouths and turn back immediately. Fungloom spores do more than weaken the body. Prolonged exposure produces false sounds, distorted paths, and the persistent sensation of being watched from beneath the soil. Several explorers have wandered in circles while believing they were following companions who were never there. Despite its mournful appearance, Fungloom is neither helpless nor solitary. When one is threatened, others have been recorded emerging from the surrounding earth within moments. Do not assume the mushroom before you is the only one aware of your presence.
