Sealed Emberbound Warning Do not attempt psychic contact with Mindveil. The creature appears to possess no singular consciousness. Every mind it encounters adds another voice to its Hive Mind, allowing it to anticipate danger before an attacker has fully decided to strike. Those affected by its Psychic Pulse report memories becoming uncertain and private thoughts answering questions they never asked. Mindveil is believed to be the evolved form of Thoughtling, but the transformation has never been witnessed. No cocoon, discarded body, or transitional state has been recovered. A Thoughtling simply vanishes, and sometime later, something much larger begins dreaming through every nearby mind. The central eye is not known to close. Whether it observes the physical world, the thoughts surrounding it, or something looking back from beyond the fractures remains unanswered.
