FLAVOR TEXT
Every warning sounds gentle until the storm answers.
LORE
The hanging bells along Galecrest roads are not always placed there by travelers. Breezebells gather beneath stone arches and cliffside bridges where the wind passes cleanly through their hollow bodies. Their ringing changes with approaching weather: a light chime for steady rain, a rapid peal for dangerous crosswinds, and one deep note before the arrival of a violent storm. Ignoring that final warning is strongly discouraged. When threatened, a Breezebell releases the gathered wind in a Ringing Gust. The sound disorients nearby Forgekin while the pressure behind it knocks attackers from their footing. Entire caravans have survived sudden highland storms by following Breezebells into sheltered ravines. If every bell around you stops ringing at once, seek cover immediately. The storm is already overhead.
