Learn how card colors, chase rarities, and handcrafted pack assembly work.

Forged in Fire MTCG cards are individually engraved onto metal and assembled by hand. Unlike mass-produced trading card games, packs are not generated through automated factory collation.

Packs are created from a randomized card pool and reviewed before sealing to promote variety and an enjoyable opening experience.

Forged in Fire Rarity Tiers

⚫

Black — Common

The most frequently encountered cards and the foundation of every collection.

🟢

Green — Uncommon

Less common than Black cards and often feature enhanced abilities, effects, or stats.

🔴

Red — Rare

Rare cards prized by players and collectors alike.

🔵

Blue — Rare

Equally scarce as Red cards, offering additional collectible variety.

🟣

Purple — Chase Rare

Among the hardest Rare cards to find. Purple cards are highly sought after by collectors and may feature select Rare or Legendary Forgekin.

🟡

Gold — Legendary Chase

The rarest color tier in Forged in Fire MTCG. Gold cards feature Legendary Forgekin and represent the most prestigious pulls available.

Collector Note

Card color represents collectibility, not gameplay strength. Cards with the same name function identically regardless of color. Purple and Gold versions are premium collector editions designed to be significantly harder to obtain.

Pack Assembly

▸Packs are assembled from a randomized card pool.

▸Exact duplicate cards within a pack are avoided whenever possible.

▸The same Forgekin may appear in multiple color tiers.

▸Purple cards are premium Chase Rare versions.

▸Gold cards are premium Legendary Chase versions.

▸Color rarity represents relative scarcity rather than guaranteed pack-by-pack odds.

▸Actual card distribution may vary due to the handcrafted nature of production.

The Forged Difference

Every Forged in Fire MTCG card is individually laser engraved onto anodized metal and assembled by hand. While every version of a card plays the same, Purple and Gold editions are intentionally produced in much smaller quantities, creating exciting chase cards for collectors while preserving fair gameplay for everyone.
